6 FAQs on GST Core amendment, OTP & validation error!


Q 1. Users complaint that Name printed in PRC is incorrect. Director’s Name was getting printed instead of Firm Name.

Ans: The details were provided in PRC as per information received from States for data migration. This may be corrected through Core amendment to registration application

Q 2. Change or addition /delete in the authorized signatory tab if the same person is promoter /partner as well. Promoter has ticked himself as authorized signatory

Ans. This can be corrected through Core amendment. Services >Registration > Amendment of Registration Core field

Q 3. Change in mobile/email ID

e.g.: addition /edit /delete primary authorized signatory if the same person is promotor/partner as well. Promoter has ticked himself as authorized signatory

Ans: This can be corrected through Core amendment. Services > Registration > Amendment of Registration Core field

Q 4. In GST enrollment Application – Business detail tab- Legal name as per PAN is incorrect

This can be corrected through Core amendment. Services >Registration>Amendment of Registration Core field

Q 5. OTP not received!

Ans. In some cases, OTPs do not get delivered because of various reasons. Please press re-generate OTP button.

Q 6. After submission of application I got validation error!

Ans. This occurs due to mismatch of PAN / CIN / DIN Aadhaar of Promoters or Authorized signatories. Please log in and correct the relevant data as intimated by email.
